Nothing ever happens to me.

Once I lost thirty-nine dollars

I had my heart broken

I ate so much food I thought I’d throw up,

But nothing ever happens to me.

Once I had my bike stolen

My first ever bike stolen

For thirteen years I was in therapy

I swallowed a dime,

But nothing ever happens to me.

Once I broke my arm

Flying a kite off a four foot wall

I was in a mental hospital twice

I was arrested for disturbing the peace,

But nothing ever happens to me.

Once I saw my stepmom smoke cocaine

I got my ass beat in a mosh pit

I found that dime

I spent nine hours out of a day making pizza

I saw my grandma naked

At one point I was pretty sure I was in love,

But nothing ever happens to me.
